First installation and connection is difficult!

So far the printer looks great, the eventual test pages I got look great, it has a smaller foot print than the CX6400 that I was giving up and it can do more, i.e. double sided printing (an extra $10 to $15 dollars over the 2630 model) but worth it. HOWEVER, don't give up if the installation ends up with missing files. If at first you don't succeed, with the disk and the updated web files, reinstall from the disk and then again from the web and hopefully it will work for you like it did for me. I didn't have a USB cable which can be used.

It gave me the wireless features I wanted.

This isn't a review of print quality or any other feature EXCEPT for the Wireless.
It offered local WiFi connectivity for our home devices. Additionally you can direct connect, which I probably won't use...
but it also has an email print feature. It assigns you an email address that you can attach a document and mail/print for anywhere.

So far so good

I first purchased an Epson 2450 and used it very little. Its like brand new. I moved and when I went to use it it wouldn't print. I went ahead and bought another Epson. The WF-2650. So far so good. Hopefully this one will last.

Wireless networking barely works

I hope you enjoy rebooting all of your network equipment and printer to try and print something.
Ink cartridges are tiny, overpriced and hard to get in a small town.

Out of the box the printer would not print blue... Did multiple head cleanings and nozzle checks and alignments and two ink cartridges later, still nothing.

You get what you pay for. Easy to install, yes, but...Feeder jams all the time. Generic LCD display is hard to navigate, especially when setting up the fax. If auto feeder jams, you are forced to fax one page at a time...won't save and send multi-page fax from glass, even though I choose YES option to scan more pages, it automatically sent one page. Could not copy from glass at first...had to clean the print heads TEN times to fix quality issues...I do not exaggerate, TEN times. When scanning from auto feeder, there is always a line. Cannot figure out how to RECEIVE faxes. :(

scan in B&W doesn't work, difficult to set up

The set-up instructions were skimpy, desperately-needed information was not provided. I did succeed in setting it up, and it appeared to work fine, Wi-Fi, printing, scanning in color, was all good. However to specify black and white scanning, it will say it has started, but will just sit and spin. It is possible that if I had a good set of instructions, it might say that B&W scan isn't supposed to work. I don't know. Also, it is ridiculous that you have to go online to get this printer to use an iMac.

This machine is not ease of use. To many functions and not fast to get to them. I did not like the copies on both sides.
