prints sporadically

I bought this printer for school and set up the wireless printing according to the instructions. I've attempted to print three documents since I set up the printer and each document has failed to print and given me an error. The error does not explain what the problem is. I've tried to figure out the problem for several minutes with no luck. The printer settings on the computer do not help me either.

Most parts of set up do not work

You would think with a manual, fold out poster, and online set up you would be able to connect and use the Epson WF-2650 but nope. It says the phone line isn't connected but when you connect a phone to it the line works. It took over an hour to get the Wi-Fi part to connect and now because the fax part won't work I can't even see if any of the other functions scanner or printer portion works because you cant get it off the set up for fax menus. I am almost certain this particular one is probably a dud and another one may hook right up no problem. I have owned Epson products in the past and was why I bought this one maybe the quality just isn't what it was before.

Cleaning the heads repeatedly
on February 25, 2015

Not sure if this particular printer was sitting on the shelf a long time or something, but I had to clean the printer head about 12-15 times (and counting) before it would print yellow on a test print paper. The instructions are abysmal and the owner's manual is basically non-existent (unless you need help loading paper...)

Epson WF-2650

I purchased this printer because I have some other Epson models and they work fine. However, your WF-2650 has problems and it is frustrating. I hope you can correct the situation in order to keep your products on top of this competitive marketplace. My satisfaction with your products has decreased dramatically after I purchased this model.

changing papers

The fact that you have to keep specifying letter, envelope, legal, etc. when you change paper in and out is annoying. Other copiers printers just go with it, such as the workforce 540.

Set Up

Took over two(2) hours, you need to make this stuff easier for people that don't mess with computers all day. We check our e-mail every two or three days. We don't set in front a computer or hold a smart phone in our hands constantly, thus we don't understand this stuff. Very frustrating !

Happy so far. Installed in minutes, fits the work space available and seems to have good print quality. That's really everything I had hoped for.
