we have found printing to be very good with our laptops via wi fi sand connecting very easy but have not been able to get the proper connection to make the printer work with our I MAC desktop. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is not lile my WF 630

For those expecting the performance of the good old WF-630 or the smaller Artisan series, you will be disappointed. The WF-2650 sounds great on paper as an economical, professional looking product, all-in one that prints slowly. It prints especially slowly when in auto duplex mode. I prefer the Artisan for this application over the WF 2650 for speedy high-quality results. I prefer the WF 630 for heavy duty, speedy and quality printouts.
This is not my first 2650. The first new product I received was defective. Epson replaced it promptly, but it is a poor start for a working relationship. Unless you are using for home use, let this one go.

I think this printer will be OK. My problem is getting started. I installed printer and drivers as instructed and test went ok. First job wanted to print printer display wanted more something but figuring out what was impossible. Documentation provided was generously called sparse and of no help. Finally unplugged the thing from the wall. (No off switch) and plugged it back up. Display cleared but nothing happened until 45 minutes later it spit out the printed two pages (I did nothing after plugging it up.) I am not going to try it again until I have an opportunity to do some research on the net. Would help if instructions said you had to enter settings before it would work. Printed pages looked good even if a ghost prompted the machine to act.

Nice printer

The only 2 drawbacks are that the 1 - display is set looking up so it is too high to set the printer on top of my shelf - therefore, I have to use valuable desk space for the printer, and 2 - you can't hook it up with an ethernet cable.

Very Disappointed

I purchased this printer to replace the Epson WF600 because I had difficulty getting the 600 to "talk" with my new Windows 8 desktop computer. What a mistake!
I absolutely love the WF600. It's functionality is extraordinary and above all is very user-friendly. I did not find any of these qualities in the WF2650. The print quality is fair, at best, there does not seem to be an adjustment for color intensity, and the effort required to print an envelope or change paper size is ridiculous! The storage drawer is unstable and doesn't open easily. I would not recommend for printing photos. Epson produced an excellent product...then they improved it?? This is not what I expected from Epson.

confusion

the on screen instructions are not clear enough. the manual I downloaded was just a longer version of the useless quick guide. they are written for someone who already knows how it works. I would like the instructions to be easy to use, not requiring advanced computer skills.
