I've owned the workforce 545 for years and it died. the 2650 seems very similar in features with great print results

I have been trying to install this printer for over 2 hours now. I am unable to get it to connect to the network we have. The directions in the set up manual are incomplete. The software CD that comes with the printer takes for ever to load. It takes you through steps but it still did not work. It never asked for the networks name or password. I went to Epson's website for the video on setting up the network and it filled in some of the blanks. At one point you are to go to the printer to input some information that the CD never tells you to do. I tried that but the options I get do not agree with the video. I have 2 networks with my router a home one and a guest one. The printer will only see the guest one and my next door neighbor's network. I am suppose to put in the password but the printer never asks for that in the menu options. We had another workforce printer that stopped recognizing the Epson printer cartridges. We had trouble setting it up also. I got this printer because of the price but was worried about setting up the network. I should have listen to that voice in the back of my head. I will give this another hour and then take it back to the store and get another brand.

Frustrating all in one

I've used a lot of different printers, but this one has by far been the most difficult to operate. It should be as easy as pushing one or two buttons to make a copy, but it is not. You have to go thru the entire set-up regime every time you want to print, scan, copy or whatever. Additionally, it does not pick up the wi-fi signal very well and thus is very slow. Everything else in my room picks up the wi-fi just fine, but not this "All in one". It should be the "all in one Junk". I can't wait to take this back and get another printer. I need one that comes with a manual, not one that I have to print out 132 pages once I figure out how to program into making a booklet so I don't waste a ton of paper and time. I'm not a negative person in any manner, but this machine has really got me frustrated. I'm done with it.

Terrible

I would not recommend this printer. It worked fine until you have to replace the ink after that it doesn't print the same. Pictures are terrible and you can not read the letters. Not please at all.

I have had 3-4 Epson printers that I loved. The WF-2650 is the worst printer that I have ever used.
I tried 2 of them thinking that there was some internal damage in shipping. Same results - hard to use, the simplest things are problematic.
My old Work Force 635 bit the dust - all of the ease of use features and functions are essentially gone with the WF-2650.
The black ink (both provided with the printer and replacement) lasted for less than 100 pages.
