Ok I personally loved this album. It's different in some ways from Fallen but the band is maturing and so is the sound. The songs on this CD are powerful and emotional.
Sweet Sacrifice: Rating: 5 Stars This song is one of my favorites on the Album. If you're a fan of Evanescence's song "Going Under" Then this is a song you will definitely like.
Call Me When You're Sober: Rating: 4 Stars This song is about one of Amy Lee's previous relationships. It's just flat out to the point. The message is obvious in this song unlike the others.
Weight of the World: Rating: 4 Stars Heavy guitar sound and moody vocals don't even begin to describe this song. If you are a fan of their songs "Whisper" or "Haunted" Then you will definitely like this song.
Lithium: Rating: 5 Stars This song is so dark and emotional. It will blow you away. You can feel the emotions in this song. It really sticks in your head after you listen to it. I would recommend listening to this song if you like My Immortal or Imaginary.
Cloud Nine: Rating: 4 Stars Don't let the name deceive you. This song is not all soft and light. This song features heavy guitar sound and dark and emotional vocals. Think the sound as something like "Everybody's Fool" or "Bring me to Life". But this song is unique and one of my favorites.
Snow White Queen: Rating: 5 Stars In my opinion, this is one of the most emotional and dark songs on this album. The sound is creepy and the lyrics will leave you feeling like you just walked into a nightmare. The vocals definitely fit the mood of this song.
Lacrymosa: Rating: 5 Stars This song is one of my favorites on this album. The guitars are amazing in this song and the vocals are even better. You'll feel like you've stepped into another world when you listen to this song.
Like You: Rating: 5 Stars Another wonderful song. It's dark and emotional. It is in my opinion the second most emotional song on this album. You can definitely feel the pain in Amy's voice.
Lose Control: Rating: 4 Stars A song that I cannot quite describe. It's creepy and dark in it's own way.
The Only One: Rating: 5 Stars My third favorite song on this album. The lyrics are powerful and emotional. This is a song anyone can relate to. If you're looking for a dark and emotional song then this is the song for you. The lyrics are beautiful and like poetry
Your Star: Rating: 5 Stars My second favorite song on this album. The vocals are dark and emotional. This song is yet another one that just about anyone can relate to. You can feel the emotions in this song.
All That I'm Living For: Rating: 4 Stars There is really no way to describe this song without these three words: Dark Beautiful Haunting
Good Enough: Rating: 5 Stars This is definitely my favorite song on the album. It is one of the only happy songs I have ever liked. It's an expression of love and moving on. I haven't found a song that has this kind of emotion in it. It's not exactly a love song. It's more then that. Much more.

Amy Lee's voice is great, a very talented vocalist but this music is bleak, bleaker than their last album. That's okay for most fans but if you are not a fan already you need to take that into consideration. Also the album is choppy, that's why not 5 stars. There are some tracks which are very well done but unfortunately there are about 4 or 5 where it seems like they are floundering and didn't really develop the song. Some have called this album a "sophomore slump". I wouldn't be that extreme, it's got too many well crafted songs for that.

I don't know why people are complaining; this is a great album. Although the playing skill may not be the best, the band does a great job to make the sound completely their own.
From the start, it sounds dark and gloomy, but somehow it sounds right, if you know what I mean. But on the very last song, the mood changes, and it sounds happy. It's a very satisfying way to end an album that sounds more or less down in the dumps throughout.
Also, the choir and strings add an incredible quality to the overall sound. Not to mention the amazing voice of Amy Lee.

This is a great album for those of you that like really good vocals and like to sing with them. Its great for road trips especially when you want to pass the time. However there are a few songs that just don't seem to fit in with the album. Some how with Amy Lee's vocals it doesn't seem to matter.
