Good machine, very poor filter

This is a decent machine. I have used mine daily for 5 months now with no breakdowns. The grinder works well and the features are good. The one major draw back is the re useable filter is terrible, it allows fine particles of grinds through and leaves you with a very murky cup of coffee with dark film at the bottom of your cup and caraf. Because of this I would not recommend. I am currently searching for an improved replacement filter.

Disposable filters?

I need paper filters….I work in an office and it is hard to get to a sink to clean the permanent filter. Do you have them?

problem with boiling the water

i just bought it and i start to make some coffee. the first time i made the coffee, it worked perfectly fine. but for the second time, the water would be heated. i wonder why!!!

Functions well, but...

We received this coffee maker as a wedding gift. The product functions well: make a great cup of coffee, easy to assemble and easy to use while I'm still a walking zombie first thing in the morning. However, the writing on the buttons wiped off after the first couple of uses, which makes it VERY difficult to use. I can no longer use the programming function to set the timer to have my coffee ready in the morning when I wake up. There is only one button on the item that I can use and that's the ON/OFF button. I'm unable to set the time or the timer. As I said, the product works well, but due to the product not being made for longevity, we unfortunately cannot use the product features as we had hoped.

Disappointing

We purchased this coffee maker about 6 miles the ago and it just gets worse. It takes forever to brew and just lets out tons of steam. Also, it leaks water from somewhere. B&D should replace this product for each customer who purchased it. We previously owned a Mr. Coffee for several years and it was awesome - until it was its time to go. Should've replaced it with the same.

Love it but it leaks!

I received this coffee pot for mother's day from my son. I love that I can grind and brew my coffee. The coffee taste so good! My problem began about 1-2 months after receiving it. Water was coming out from underneath the coffee pot. At first it wasn't much and thought it was just me being careless. The water has gotten worse and now requires a kitchen towel to soak up the water and keep it from going everywhere. I would buy this product again if I knew they fixed the issue. It is an every morning headache.

Great, until...

I bought this coffee pot in March and it was working well until I tried to clean it. I put in the vinegar like it says to now it's making all sorts of weird noises and is not brewing at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked okay for a while

I enjoyed this machine for the fact that it grids the beans fresh before brewing. It worked for a while with no issues. Now, when I put in 12 cups of water to brew a pot, it yields only 4. Where's the rest of the water? It ends up all over my counter during the brewing process. This happens all the time now. The product is good in theory, but I'm not sure why it gave out.
