Nice, but all that goes in does not come out.

First let me say I really like this coffee maker. The fact that it grinds beans nicely, to me is the #1 good feature. I like the look of it and it's easy to program. I find it pretty easy to clean as well. With that said, I will now say there is a flaw. When filling with water the "measuring guide" on the side shows how many cups you're filling it with. BUT, when the coffee is done, I have at least 2 cups less than what I put in. I put in 6 cups of water (per the guide on the side of the unit) but when finished brewing I barely have 4 cups (per the guide on the pot) in the pot. Not to mention, I have used enough beans for 6 cups and get only 4 cups of horribly strong coffee. So, because of the measuring guides being inaccurate I'm wasting beans and have to add water to the coffee because it's so strong. I know now that I have to adjust to filling with 8 cups of water so I'll get the 6 cups of coffee I want. I would recommend someone take a look at the measurement guides and adjust them so they're correct. I will recommend this coffee maker as I do like it but will also warn that more water must be used.

need replacement carafe!

I've had this coffee maker for about a year and a half and I am happy with it. However, the carafe broke and I can't seem to find a replacement. The B&D replacement pots that I found don't fit this model. Very disappointing!

ten years and this is without a doubt the best! Easy on all counts to clean and operate. Great coffee!

I used this coffee maker for 5-6 months and did really enjoy it for awhile. Then we broke the carafe, replacements were on backorder for months. Now I get up while we have a house full of guests and after loading the coffee pot I end up with a flashing blue light. I look online to see what it is and B&D has no information, the only thing I see is the other reviews of people who have had the same experience. So do not guy this coffee maker if you actually want coffee consistently.

I bought this several months ago and it's still performing perfectly every time. It's not too loud on grinding and coffee comes out perfect. Only hassle has been finding a replacement carafe.

Pretty stoked!

Ok, it's only day one; my expectations were not high... however, this unit has impressed me so-far.
With a few little tweaks, sacrificed half a dozen cups in experimenting, cupped coffee all day, and we have a new little member to our family. To impress me more, it would have to wake me in the morning with my coffee and a toasted Bagel, "in bed".
Reading the reviews here, we will be extra careful not to break the Carafe.
