Great coffee

I've owned this maker for almost 3 yes. Never had a problem. The only thing is emptying the grinds. After shaking out the filter you have to rinse it out in the sink which caused my sink to backup. I don't use the grinder often and wish there was a paper filter I could use when not using grinder. It would save time and my plumbing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement Now Stopped Working

The first one leaked after a year. The replacement that B&D sent now stopped working. Flashing power button, but does nothing. Terrible product! I cannot recommend this model.

Ridiculous

At age 74 I thought I was purchasing my last coffeemaker,so I wanted it to be a good one. Was I ever disappointed! 6 cups of water turns into 1 1/2 cups of coffee and a soaked counter. Don't buy this!

Leaked after 2 months

Went from a Bunn to a Kuerig to a good old fashioned brewer with a grinder. Two months later I have a giant puddle under the machine after every pot. It's dripping from in back of the pot...half the water turns into coffee, half of it goes on my counter. Very disappointed. Based on the other comments the leaking issue is a design flaw so if you're reading this review to decide whether to buy this model...take a pass.

Replacement Carafe

This coffeemaker has always worked fine. But my mother just broke the Duralife carafe (Part #CM5000-01). I can't seem to find this anywhere. Can you post a link or suggestion where I can buy or order this? Thanks in advance.

Worth the price

We bought this machine about a week ago and we were pretty happy with it. Unfortunately I accidentally broke the carafe a couple of days ago and the machine kinda leaks now that I'm not using the original. Haven't been able to find an original replacement yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Coffee Maker but no replacement for carafe

I've been very happy with this coffee maker but the carafe broke and I can't find a replacement. If I could find a replacement, I'd give this product a better rating as I like the option of using either ground or whole bean coffee. Very surprised my coffee maker is unusable because a carafe isn't available.

I love my coffee maker. But, I have bought a Black and Decker replacement carafe and a universal. Neither fit the CM500B perfectly. How can I order an original carafe for proper function of my coffee maker?
