My son purchased a Wii U for Christmas. Some of the multiplayer games require the Nunchuk. Best Buy had them in stock and the price was good. It takes some coordination to work the Nunchuk and the controller at the same time. It sure is fun.

I bought this primarily for Mario Kart Wii. It works well. The control stick doesn't stick at all, it is smooth and the buttons are easy to press.
It is definitely worth the extra cost to go with the Nintendo brand controller rather than a cheap knock off. Did that once, it didn't end well. This controller seems like it will last.
