I bought a fmdirect adapter to use in my 2007 Ford f150 for my Sirius XM radio only to discover the newer trucks don't use the normal fittings for the radio antenna so now I need to know how to fix this.

I bought this for me and it worked great on my KIA Spectra 05. No additional adaptors needed for it. I installed it myself in 5 mins. Then, i got one for my girlfriends KIA RIO CINCO. No adaptors for that either!! Both cars clear and static free!!!
What's great about it: No static at all. Clear sound!!
What's not so great: Doesnt boost volume. Installing maybe a pain.

I had wireless for almost a year and it was fine on the FM presets. Then out of the blue all my presets were very staticky and the one I had been using for over a year, which was still the less staticky one, was picking up an awful country radio station 3 hours away in B'ham, AL! I put up with this for 3 weeks and was miserable. Best Buy in Fayetteville, GA did the install in less than 30 mins. My reception is awesome. Why didn't I do this sooner!?!?!?!?!?!? Now, if only this adaptor could make the Punk Channel come back to Sirius...
What's great about it: No time at all to install, hidden wires

The FM connector eliminates all outside interference and static the wireless FM system has. With the direct connect, I can set the satellite radio on one FM frequency and keep it there. I want to thank those who wrote great reviews on this product. They are all totally accurate. Some car radios will need an adapter in order to use this connector.
What's great about it: make satellite radio reception nearly perfect

Best option available to connect your Sirius radio to your stereo if A. you don't want any wires showing; B. you don't have an AUX input or don't want to occupy your AUX input, and C. you don't want interference from other radio stations when using the FM transmitter.
I wouldn't hook up a sirius any other way as my vehicle has no visible wires, sounds as good as an auxiliary hook-up, and never has interference from any other radio stations.
The installation cost was more than was quoted, which is ALWAYS the case with best buy. There's always 2 connectors they "forget" about, but well worth the price.
What's great about it: Good sound, no exposed wiring, leaves AUX input open, no interference
