This product works beautifully! I am so very pleased with the efficiency and lack of loosing any radio signal no matter where or change in range.
Best Buy Servicemen "Jessie & Andrew" installed this device with ease without causing any damage to car or dash in just a few minutes. We were so thankful the windshied did not have to be removed for installation. We wouldn't be without this device. Our neighbor purchased only the radio (to cut corners and save on expense) but looses signal when range changes during travel. We never loose our signal!
Very pleased with the excellent service received at the Palmdale, CA location. We enjoy our XM Radio! 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs!
Thanks Best Buy for your advice purchasing this item.
What's great about it: We never suffer any loss of signal "ever"!

my satellite would not hold the fm stations in some parts of calif. the adapter clear the all that, I have no more problems with the old satellite radio, I think I have the first or second made. they want me to upgrage to a new one, bot I have lifetime contract and that would kill my deal, no way. my old works find.

What's great about it: clear stations in all parts of calif, i would lose some of the stations in L A.
What's not so great: when the adapter is on, my local stations will not play clear. i turn the adapter off and no programs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Outstanding Adapter

Other than trying to find the car radio removal procedures for my car (2005 Dodge Durango), the FM Adapter install was quite easy. I was able to find the separate cable adapters specific for my car at Fry's Electronics.
Sound quality was OK before the install. After the install, the quality is superb.
I agree with others that this FM Adapter SHOULD be included with a Sirius radio.
What's great about it: Easy Installation
What's not so great: Requires separate antenna cable adapter(s) specific to your car (if needed)
I would recommend this to a friend!

A MUST have for XM

My old XMFM1 died. So I upgraded to the XM Onyx. If your radio does not have an "AUX" input, you must have this adapter for your system to get the best sound. Installing the adapter was very simple. If your are not sure about taking your radio or dash area apart, Google it or check out You-Tube. I found step by step instructions and is was not too much of a hassle. Had my system all removed and installed in a hour or so. This adapter has a far better sound than the old one. No static problems at all. Make sure you locate a clear FM signal for your XM. It's the best 20 bucks you will spend for your system. Do not forget to tie up all the loose cables.
What's great about it: Sound and size

Great product for a big city!

I got this because I live in a big city (Atlanta) where there's a radio station on pretty much every frequency. I couldn't stand being able to use one for a couple of miles and then losing it and trying to find another. Plus the quality of the sound was kind of lacking. This little device solved both problems.
A little tricky to install, but if you know how to get to the back of your radio it's not really that difficult. Once you've got it in just set one of your defaults and you're good to go!
What's great about it: Much better reception
What's not so great: May be difficult to install
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Alternative to swapping out entire radio

Install was pretty straight forward. Works better then the cassette adapter that I was using before. Better sound. Also allows music and Pandora on Iphone to be played through the radio.
