it´s my first reflex camera and purchase with 18-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens. I have more chances to continue learning to change the body in a short time!. excellent optical quality.

I purchased this camera because i wanted the versatility of being able to change len's. This camera was the top rated by any evaluation that i read. Also, I already own a canon camera, so the brand is familiar to me. I am just learning how to use the camera. it does take beautiful pics., even with me pushing the button

Canon just keeps improving

The T5i is the second Canon Rebel I have owned, having the SL1 previously. The improvements in features and weight of the camera are immense, while maintaining its familiarity. The images are so much better, with the same lenses, and the video is a bonus. I love the touchscreen and quick notes that help remind me on the fly of the best setting to use for the occasion. I would highly recommend this camera to both novices and the more experienced photographers who want the most out of a cost efficient option in camera gear. With options from fully automatic to fully manual, this camera can work for anyone. The professional photographers I work with agree with me completely.

Love my new camera

I received the camera on Christmas Eve. I used the automatic feature to take photos of my Grandchildren. It took the best pictures of the action, capturing the faces as they were surprised. I can not wait to get more knowledgeable on all the uses for this camera.

Bought this to replace a Canon Rebel XS. I must say that the improvement over the XS is outstanding. The colors are very bright and ease of use is up to Canon standards. Haven't really found any reason to knock this camera at all. Video is easy and clear. Just shot video at a flag folding for Marine. The video was clean and crisp. This is a great camera and for the landscape photographer, the family picture guy, you have a winner in this one
