More than I thought that it was.

Worked as described which was Awesome.Took my hobby and shifted from second to fourth gear without any problems.That was stupid to say.Nah it 's a great camera and I'm still in the learning process of all of its capabilities.I am kinda scared to do to much with it because it was not cheap.The more I use it, the more the nervousness disappears.So much value in a little piece of black plastic.If you want a good camera don't buy this one because it is a better than (great) camera.You can laugh now,Ha hA. It is a great camera,More and better than I had expected.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use, everything about this camera is a pro., it fits my world., alot to learn for a novice like myself, enough said

One of the best purchases I've ever made. The camera is fun and easy to use. The features are easy to access, and user friendly. I recommend the T5i to anyone who wants to capture great memories.

Awesome camera , easy to use . many features , easy to use manual I have had Canon Rebel film cameras and I am glad I purchased the T5i. Terrific pictures . I purchased the 18-55 IS STM and the 55-250 IS STM lenses they are great. Thanks Canon.

This is my first dslr an i'm really having a great experience shooting with it!

Cons: Short battery life

Great Camera

This is a great camera for the beginner and enthusiast. I find that it's not so much the camera but the lens that makes the most difference. It has just about all of the bells and whistles found on more expensive full frame cameras. My only complaint is that it will not shoot RAW+JPEG simultaneously. I just downloaded a firmware upgrade and hope that takes care of this issue. Great Camera

If you are starting out to be a professional or learn about photography the "Rebel" is the perfect camera to start out with. Then years later, upgrade to the "Mark" series. I'm not going to lecture you of why. It's just like the same reasons you don't marry the first person you like or kiss.
