Finally, a multi function printer that does what you want, when you want, and how you want. Without breaking the bank on operating expenses or requiring a resident IT person to keep it communicating with the computer. Very intuitive!

I finally found a network printer that will reliably wake from sleep, that doesn't have to be reset every time I want to use it. So far, all pros and no cons.

Big Output From Small Machine

The convenience of the control pad selecting number of copies, etc., means it is frequently changed in error. When copying from books and journals, it is impossible to avoid occasionally brushing these settings and obtaining very surprising (and unwanted) results. I frequently get 33 copies when I only want 1.

Better Value and functions than I was expecting

For the price I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use and all the functionality with wireless networking, without all the hassle of needing a IT specialist to set it up. I use it for printing newsletters for a Marine Corps Firefighting and Rescue association, so it gets a lot of use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible printer

This printer is as good as a paper weight. We have had it several years and have been able to print wirelessly on it less than a handful of times. We’ve downloaded drivers, reset the printer, reset our modem, etc. I have searched endlessly online and on Brothers website on how to fix the problem...the problem is fixed momentarily.
We have used Brother printers for years; I am so disappointed in this product. I can not confidently say this printers replacement will be another Brother product.

Had this unit for my home office for just little over one year with minimal usage. .Stopped turning on ( It tries to turn on but then turns off ) . I have 8 Brother printers for my offices for years with no problems. I had some issues with another bigger Brother printer that was somehow fixed because I purchased extended warranty. Over all I'm not happy with the quality of the ones that were purchased in the last 2 years, The old ones work with no issues. Probably the quality went down. So to me no more Brother.
