Brother product always satisfy

This is my 5th brother product 3 MFC ink jets 2 laser. This is my 2nd laser, the first was MFC-8640N which served me well since 2006. I look forward to the same performance with this MFC all-in-one.
The wireless, duplex printing, print speed ease of setup and use are among the benefits with this and all other Brother products I have owned.

Best choosing for yours

I have bought some printer from another maker, but I feel that's enough when see and buy mfc-l2740dw for my home. Best choosing for your family or small business.

Greatly Surprised

The MFC-L2740DW replaced an older Brother laser printer. Set it up wireless for 3 networked computers. Nice not having to keep the desktop computer on in order to print from the laptops. Printing is a snap. Have used it to copy, scan and fax documents. Still need to learn more about faxing. Copying and scanning before the MFC were done using a color flat-bed scanner. The wife really likes the simplicity of copying documents. This MFC does everything well!

Great until now

The printer worked great until I had to change the wireless router. Now I can't get the machine to print. I plan on using the DVD to reload the printer. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

Great full featured laser printer

I finally gave up trying to keep my color ink jet printer supplied with color ink. Years ago when home printers hit the market, everyone wanted to print in color. Now, it is not all that important. This laser printer delivers crisp, dark printed letters. It is refreshing to note that one toner cartridge prints an average of 2600 copies. Can't do that with color ink jet. When operating, it even sounds like it is mechanically well built. The only concern is the in-rush current when it is called on to print. After plugging it into another circuit, the in-rush no longer tripped the computer's UPS.

Brother Laser all-in-one printer

We have been using our Brother Mfc-L2740 laser printer for about 6 weeks or so, and it is working fine. We have not yet tested the fax function, but printing and copying are good. It is rather loud, but not too disruptive for our needs. The original print cartridge did not last very long, but the high usage replacement from LD Products works fine and is lasting longer. We like it because we don't have to keep replacing multiple color cartridges as we did on our ink jet printer. Only problem has been with the WiFi dropping out occasionally. It has been ok lately because I changed some network cables on my WiFi router. I would recommend a good router (AC) if distances in your usage space are large. A weak signal will kill wireless printing & services like Apple AirPrint.

It only took less than 30 minutes to unpack and set up! The price is very reasonable for a laser printer All-in One
This printer prints very fast for a wireless printer.
It prints and copies with very good quality.
I have not tested the fax yet as I don't have any phone jacks in that room. Some reviewers mention to use a DSL filter when faxing on a VOIP line like Fios.
I have not tried printing from my cell phone as
my phone is not Android 4.0 or above.
