Unit works well enough. Uses More toner than I anticipated. Sounds clunky when it prints.

MFC-L2740DW - Great Printer

Had this printer for 3 months and have not had any problems. Prints reliably from IOS and Android devices. Works flawlessly with Google Cloud Printing. Scanning/copying is quick with no paper jams. I would buy this printer again in an instant.

Good machine

It seems like a good solid machine. I've only had it a couple of months, but it seems to be working great. My only complaint is that it does not have any USB ports. I scan a lot of documents to USB drives. Now I have to scan to the computer then to the drive. I am running out of the toner that came with the machine. I don't know how it will do with a full toner. We shall see. Overall I gave it a good rating.

Nice printer, but...

For some reason the printer is ALWAYS 'offline' and I've tried all the remedies. Never had any printer do this incessantly..., EVER! Real pain in the neck!. Otherwise, it's OK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Previously, I had always bought and used a "All in One" inkjet printer. My wife's office had a Brother Laser printer that they used for writing checks. So when my "competing brand" inkjet crashed, she convinced me to buy and try a Brother. I bought a Wireless all-in-one MFCL2740DW this past Summer and I am glad that I did. So far I am very pleased with its performance on my Windows 10 computer. I did have a little trouble understanding limited instructions for installing the printer software on a MAC computer.

Good...Not perfect

Installation was easy...wireless...shared...printing envelopes is not easy..cumbersome..time consuming. This Brother replaced a HP all in one which was great for printing all sorts of items...when it worked. So far Brother is more reliable.

LOVING THIS MACHINE

I DO A LOT OF MUSIC COPYING AS THE CONDUCTOR OF A SCOUT BAND. THIS MACHINCE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN A REGULAR PRINTER BECAUSE ALL I NEED IS BLACK AND WHITE (COLOR) IS NOT NEEDED FOR MUSIC COPYING. I LOVE THE FACT THAT I CAN PRINT FROM THE COMPUTER. I ALSO HAVE A CANON COPIER BUT IT ISN'T SET UP TO PRINT DIRECTLY FROM THE COMPUTER. WE DIGITIZE ALL OF OUR MUSIC SO NOW WE CAN HAVE ACCESS TO COPIES WHENEVER A PLAYER NEEDS A COPY OF THE MUSIC.
