You won't regret it

Love this. It is quick, clear, and doesn't go through ink too fast. I highly recommend this to anyone doing alot of printing.

All the functions, fax, scan, copy and printing, either for 8 x 11 or 11 x 17. I use the scan a lot for record keeping, and does an outstanding job.

I replaced another Brother laser printer that was still going strong because I needed the wireless feature of this model. Set up was easy. I love the wireless feature. The color touch screen is very intuitive so almost anyone can quickly figure out how to use it. The copy, scan and fax is easy to use too. Copies look great. It is a bit loud when printing, but I can easily dismiss that as a minor annoyance. This printer has been great so far. When my needs change, I will look to Brother for printers in the future. Solid product!

Just simply great

I have had this "All-In-One" for several months now and though I am not a heavy user of it, the thing I love about it is that it just works. Everything about it is just great. I use it on the other side of the room, near where my land line connection is, and it functions very easily as a wireless device, faxing, scanning and printer our just seamless, just as if the device is connected hardwire, instead of wireless. I would surely give this as a gift or buy one for yourself. I have been computing for the last 25 years.

In General I would love any product that manufacture stands behind the product they sell.
I switched from HP many years ago due to lack of product support.
As long as Brother keep offering phone support for their products, I won't think twice buying.
Having said that I wish the software installation offered more custom configuration/installation without having to call their customer support.
But, since then, the printer has been the I have ever had. Great multi function machine that works great, fast and without any issues.
You cant go wrong with this printer

Works OK on only 1 PC

Installed MFC on a PC by wireless connection. Initially it worked on all PCs and mobile devices connected to my network then it doesn't. Brother Support can fix it but then it breaks almost immediately and one use or just a few minutes (about long enough for support to get off the line.) But if you're looking for a printer that will work on only one device this may be the one for you.
Copy, scan, and fax functions seem to work for me fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OK - but could be much better

Overall, this unit performs well - set up easy, footprint reasonable. But, the toner carts are not as large as other Brother MCF units I have used, so printing costs have increased. Also, the single page manual page feed is difficult to use and even more difficult if proper alignment (like with checks) is critical. I previously used model 4710 and it performed better in all aspects - however, another like it was not available on a timely basis when it failed. Given a choice between the two units - if both were available at the same time - I would definitely choose the 4710.
