The wireless networking and multiple use capability make the MFC-L2740DW a valuable tool. I use the printer for 95% and copy about 4%. I rarely fax so cannot speak to that feature. I have one issue with the printing function in printing an envelope. The MFC-L2740DW sits on my desk with the access to the envelope feed near the wall. I would like to see the envelope feed accessible from the front.

Instructions are difficult
I don't like the way it operates
Can't print in color
Still not totally operational
A fax came in with only 1/10th of the top portion
Ridiculous top flip to fax
Touch screen sucks (It's better with buttons)
Too heavy to move/slide when wiring/testing

Exceptional unit and support

Unit arrived on time and in excellent condition. Was reasonably easy to set up. All functions work as expected. Was impressed with the response of the Brother staff in several inquires, one answered within 30 minutes. The associated software and information provided by the support group provided unexpected opportunities to utilize all the functions to there maximum. Very happy camper!!

I already own the HL-4570CDW, replacing a previous version for upgrading, which I love. I have an MFC-5860CN which was amazing during it's day, but I needed to upgrade to an all-in-one for scanning purposes. At first, I went the cheap route with an Epson workforce. It was easy to set up but very slow! The quality didn't seem to be there either. I researched Brother products and, even though it was a about $150 more, being laser, the quality, and excellent customer service make it more than worth it! I absolutely love this machine! I will never go with any other manufacturer again.

Wonderful cloud-ready printer,copier,scanner,fax

I am so pleased with this machine. It does everything advertised. and does it well. A little tricky for a non-techie like me to set up, but with a little help from customer service its up and running beautifully.
I've had no reasonn to call customer service after initial setup, even though I've added new machines to the system, the mfc-L2740dw connects automatically.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the printer combo functions as good or even better than expected. My favorite feature is the wireless networking and web access which allows me to scan directly to my One Drive cloud storage...A lot of functionality for the price. Great value.
