Toner cartridge???

Toner cartridge ran out of ink after about 300 copies??? Therefore, had to order a new one to be able to use the printer. Seems like the initial cartridge would last a full cycle??? I hope this isn't indicative of thighs to come.

Scans and prints well

The scanner and printer work well. The only problem is when you use the manual feeder it prints crooked and you can only put in one sheet. Also does not print thick pages (i.e. labels) well

Doesn't work right

Scanner worked at the beginning but then stopped working. Every time I try and scan a document it freezes up, then I have to close the program down. Having to deal with this issue interrupts my daily work flow. I bought this mainly for the scanner, the printer was just a bonus. Scanner does NOT work. Printer is OK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this MFC!

I did research online before purchasing this machine. The reviews were very favorable, and I had good experiences with Brother products in the past. The MFC-L2740DW exceeded my expectations. It prints, copies, and scans very quickly. I have yet to have a single paper jam. Love it!

Great Multi-Function Printer

This is my second Brother laser MFC printer and I am very pleased with it. Some people have complained about wifi issues. Rather than using the device's wireless feature, I connect it directly to my wireless router with an ethernet cable. This results in a reliable connection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not good on WiFi

I bought it because it was WiFi enabled. It's so squirrelly. Sometimes it connects and the next day it's lost its connection. Then I usually spend a good half hour trying to get it to connect again. Not happy with this printer!

Right size; right technology

This is my 4th Brother MFC and by far the best!
It's more compact and is reliable and the best new feature for me is the 2-sided scanning which changed from a sheet of paper having to pass through the machine twice to now where once pass and both sides are copied/scanned!
