I am very pleased with the printer. Using a laser printer saves so much over inkjet printers.
The support for installation and properly programming the printer to all my devices was tremendous.

install issues on scanner side

I have a brother multi printer at my work office. I love it. This one I installed 3 different times and still cannot get the scanner to work with my PC. The ControlCenter4 is nowhere to be found and keeps saying it failed to install properly. I am frustrated. IF we can get this cleared up I will be great with it I think. I said "No" on the recommendation, but only because of the scanner issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect Performance

This printer/copier is so much better than my HP ink jet was. I dont use the FAX, but if I ever need it, its there. The display in color is so much better. It has a document feeder. The page output is really fast. Buy this model, spend a few dollars more and you will be happier with your decision years from now. Check out the online videos and you will see what I mean.

The toner capacity does not allow to print a lot of copies before needing changed.
The cost of the toner this size is more expensive compared to bigger machines.

Works great except the paper jams. This shouldn't happen in a new machine. My old model broke and I decided to try Brother again. Disappointing!

Best printer ever but I will never buy another one but that brand works right the first time every time all the time easy to set up easy to work printout excellent pages perfect for my small business

Reliable, easy to set up and use. I bought a Samsung then an HP In the same category and class, had to return due to complexity and malfunctions. After I returned them and bought this brother product after more researches, I fall in love with this and stick to it.
