This multi function printer works flawlessly and is easy to configure, especially if you have previously owned any other Brother lasers. The price is great considering the features it provides.

Wireless Flaw

I generally like the performance of the printer. I am disappointed that even after contacting support, the printer will not retain the wireless network password and requires re input every time I try to print from my computer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Single-pass input duplexing is great!

Reads both sides of a two-sided input doc at same time, saving time and reducing mechanical complexity. Auto duplex printing as well. A bit noisy for a home, but bearable for short runs. Scans two-sided input to paper or directly to your computer as PDF. Prints #10 envelopes. Straight-thru printing available for heavy stock.

Just what I wanted

I needed a MFC that is B&W only. My printing needs are only forms and letters and I do not need color. I previously had an ink guzzling HP that would not print B&W B&W if any of the cartridges were low. This printer scans nicely and the features are easy to use and reliable. I am now a Brother customer.
