Works great, no problems with set up. Menus are a little clumsy, but easy to get used to

Just What I Wanted!

This printer is very intuitive & user friendly. I have had no issues to-date. The Brother - MFC-L2740DW effectively ended my frustration with enduring dried-out inkjet cartridges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So-So

Slow on the draw when you hit "print." Comparable printers begin printing immediately. I've had continuous trouble getting the thing to scan from the ADF. I've uninstalled the drivers for whole machine and reinstalled them more than once. Problem will go away, but then it comes back and you spend time trying to figure out why it won't scan. And the worst feature - you're supposed to open the back door when you print an envelope so it can come out there. Seriously?! On a positive note, their ink is cheaper than other brands. When it does print, I have no complaints about the quality or appearance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Review of the MFC-2740DW

I have not yet completely read the instructions materials, but so far it has been easy to use and I very much enjoy using the duplexing feature. This is the second Brother MFC that we have owned. The first one gave us very good service and lasted 12 years! I will continue to recommend MFCs to everyone.

Not User Friendly

This machine does not make scanning or faxing easy. Often times it doesn't print either and I have to call customer care for help with service. I had an HP prior to this snd it was very user friendly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
