Great copier and printer!

This is used in a tax preparation office; it is not the primary printer, but is used to print several items for clients and office. Our primary problem with this unit is the automatic feed - it leaves a ink stain down one side. Have had no luck in getting this repaired by anyone in our area. Have had a few issues with the duplex printing also, but this is a minor problem compared with the ink stain on copies.

EVERYTHING YOU COULD WANT IN AN ALL-IN-ONE. NICE CAPACITY MULTIPAGE FEEDER AS WELL AS LIFT-COVER SCAN/COPY ABILITY. NEVER JAMS. LARGE CAPACITY PAPER HOLDER. PRINT AND SCAN QUALITY EXCELLENT. ONLY NEGATIVE IS IT IS A BIT LOUD.

Gets the job done

This is exactly what I was looking for. I can scan to email, pdf or jpeg. Printing from wifi is a dream. Double sided printing is nice. My only complaint would be the noise. This is not a quiet printer when it is printing. It also takes about 30 seconds to warm up but both of those issues are minor. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Very reliable

Got this one to replace my old Brother MFC 7820N (I think that was it), which was a workhorse for 11 years. Hoping for the same with this one. So far, it hasn't disappointed. One of the best features on the new model is duplexing.

We had trouble getting our mac to interface with the device but my pc was and has been flawless. It gets light use so I can't comment on durabillity yet.

Excellent SOHO Printer

This Brother printer is an excellent value. The printing is very clear and you can do 2-sided copying to save paper. It scans in color and scans can be saved or sent to your email (directions are a little convoluted but works well once you set it up as an App). I have not used the fax feature (who does that anymore?) My only issue is that the cover feels flimsy. I raise it carefully with both hands so as to control the lift. If Brother fixed that, I would rate the products as "excellent."
