So quiet compared to my inkjet

I only experienced some minor glitches were I kept receiving the prompt that printer was not connected when it otherwise indicated that is was connected. I went to the Brother website and installed the driver update and this seems to have taken care of this problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broke down within a month

The machine was taken to a service center for repairs within one month of usage.repair however was covered by warranty which was a good thing but took a hours drive to and from service center and loss of usgae for weeks
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Need improvement

The toner cartridges are smaller and print less pages than the MFC 9700 or MFC 7440.

This machine is so easy to use. I use the copy and scan functions mostly. Just did the quick setup and everything worked very well.

Awesome Machine

I have loved this machine since the minute I set it up in my office. It is quiet and I love that, it does the job quickly and in three years I have only had to change the ink twice. support is superb also. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it keeps going offline but that probably has nothing to do with the machine. I am so happy I made this purchase

I purchased this printer because my previous Brother printer was so reliable and gave many years of service. This printer was an improvement as it printed 2 sided saving paper. I also loved its ability to scan and print.
I am extremely happy and would purchase it again.

Highly dysfunctional

The manual printing prints crooked. When printing on labels (or anything in the manual slot), the inks smudges off. Not much good to say about this poor excuse for a printer.
