Not happy with the complexity of the sub

I have been able to make the speakers work with AV amp but the subwoofer will not work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice compact package

I bought the 600 system as part of a theater package with a Yamaha RV-A660 AVR. This was exactly the component configuration that I was considering anyway and came with a nice package discount (30% under retail). What had me looking at the DT 600 was the size of the speakers and good reviews from numerous comparisons. I had a small/medium physical space to work with and these 600s seemed ideal. Installed all in early 2017 and am very happy with the results. Used quality 14 ga wiring to avoid any losses. Hooked up sub as per DT recommended. Nice compact footprint and good sound. Still playing with the sub to get best bass and this is the only negative that I have with the system. Certainly strong enuf for my small area but doesn't shake the windows. Added a couple of inexpensive Yamaha outdoor speakers as zone B and sound quality here seems to be on a par with the DT 600's but w/o the bass support of the sub. Very pleased with the results, especially considering the package discounted price. Pros - compact size, good sound, attractive enclosures, good connections. Enjoying music/TV much more now !
