New Washer Technology - Interesting

Have only owned product for several weeks. Still getting use to the new washer technology - no agitator and uses much less water. Seems to work fine. The water used is so little and the action of the wash cycle is so different than what we are used to, it is hard to believe the cloths are getting clean - but they are.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings

Big and brawny!

After my front loader sounded like a 747 ready to take off I knew it was time to get another washing machine. Since I overloaded the front loader causing it support bearings to wear out I figured I'd buy a machine that would be tough to overload.
Well this one is massive and so far I've noticed my clothes are looking cleaner!
Works very nice!

Why did I Wait So Long

Just purchased the LG Top Loader with Dryer. Both machines are amazing. I gave four stars for value because I was able to purchase during a huge sale. I love the features on the washer. My biggest concern was to buy a washer with a "spin" cycle, not a "rinse and spin". You know, for the times when you just need to ring out the laundry. I was skeptical about the top loader and agitation, but I have to tell you that my clothes have never been cleaner. The machine knows what it is doing. I purchased the largest capacity washer and dryer that LG made and I am so glad. I can do two loads at one time. It has cut my washing time in half.

Huge capacity

Love the extra large capacity of this washer. It's been great to cut the number of loads of laundry almost in half as well as save lots of time on smaller loads.

Good Performance

I am pleased with this washer overall. The controls are easy to use, and it does a good job with much less water than my old machine. My one problem with it is the depth of the tub. I chose a top loader because I had heard horror stories about front loaders. However, the tub is so deep that I have to either use a reaching tool or stand on a step stool to reach items at the bottom (I am not a tall person). Having said that, I prefer that problem to the mold and stink that seems to afflict my friends' front loading machines. I have owned this machine for two months and hope it lasts a long time, but it's too soon to predict long-term reliability. Today it's performing well, and I like it so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Top Notch Product - Priced Well

After searching for nearly a year, finally decided to go with the LG 5.2 capacity washer and have no regrets. With enough settings to wash just about everything, laundry comes out cleaner and fresher than using my old washer.
The silver/chrome touches gives it just a little bit of sass. We are heavy users. Can handle large or small loads. Loads of technology in this machine for washing different types of clothes and items. From freshening up to heavy wash loads, it senses the load size and levels the clothes for better washing results with less water.
