Very happy with our purchase

We do a lot of laundry with 2 college kids and 2 high school kids all home for the summer. We love the size. We had an LG front load washer that we really liked, but it went on the fritz after 8 years of use. We still hope to get it working, but we saw the topload without the agitator and trusted the LG brand. The options are great. Just remember to slide the detergent/softener drawer shut before you start. We actually prefer the topload. As we get older, it's easier to reach in from the top than to squat down and pull clothes out from the front. Does a great job getting clothes clean. Great purchase.

I've had my new washer and matching dryer since 3/13/15 and have had issues with clothes not being cleaned, simple spots will not come out in just one washing, the machine will not always spin, the spin only cycle continues to add water non-stop. The dryer runs too hot, I need to keep it at low in order not to burn my fingers when pulling out clothes. Service is coming next week. I previously had a front loader LG washer and matching dryer for 12 years with no issues. The front loader cleaned the clothes much better. This washer is definitely not worth the cost.

We never had a LG product before. After reviewing
other brands We liked what we read about the LG unit
and bought one.
This washer does a fabulous job cleaning, from dainty
to very dirty work clothes. When the wash is done the
clothes are damp dry which cuts down on drying time
in the dryer.The many options are a luxury. In all, LG
is a great washer.

Replacement for another brand

We bought this washer to replace another brand washer that was a lemon, but the company refused to back their product. We picked the LG because we have a LG washer in our second home that has never given us one problem in 3 years. This washer has worked perfectly since we had it installed.
