[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this washer in 2016 and the metal around the bleach storage area has rusted. The washer is now staining our clothes due to the rust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the washer for 6 years. It was my first washer that did not have the center agitator. What I like about the washer is the capacity. You can get a lot of clothes done at one time. I would like the ability to override the automatic water fill option. Often there is not enough water in the tub to get the clothes clean.
After owning the washer for a while, the tub started to rust around the bleach dispenser and the rust leaked onto clothes ruining some items. LG did replace the tub compartment free of charge. I'll see how long it lasts.
For my next washer, I will look for one with the override water fill option. I hope that exists.

This is the best machine I’ve even owned.

I came from a front loader from 2005 after one of its paddles broke off back in 2016. I bought this and ever since i have not looked back from that decision. It’s cleaning ability is miles ahead of my old machine, and the cycle times are shorter than most machines nowadays. Unfortunately there is reliability, and im giving this machine another 2 years or so before it dies. These newer HE washers are not made like the old ones with the agitators that lasted 15 years. However, 7 years for a washing machine is not bad at all nowadays. I haven’t had any problems with rusting or anything like that, but I do believe that’s the bearings are starting to go bad and that the drain pump is on its way out. This machine can handle anything I throw at it. Too many suds? Not a problem, this machine can handle it. Unbalanced load? Depends on the circumstances, but 99% of the time this washer does not go out of balance. Unfortunately, nowadays you can’t get a washer like this anymore. LG’s top loaders now suck, ever since they removed the waveforce they do not clean like they used to. When this washer dies, i am replacing it with a front load lg and adjusting the water level switch. However the experience I’ve had with this washer was like no other. I really wish hey never discontinued this washer, it was the best one they ever made. If there’s 1 thing you guys can take away from this, it’s to bring back the waveforce. I will always buy LG until the day I die, they really hit it out of the park with this one. I recently bought an LG dishwasher, and I will continue to buy their products from now on.
