love the new washer

I absolutely love this washer. I can't believe how much you can wash at one time it's like 3 of my old loads to 1. The only change I'd make is spin only. Very easy to use. I had to read the instructions because I didn't realize you had to choose the fabric softener option. We had a front loader before this. After buying this top loader I'll never go back to a stinky frontloader again why, because if you don't wipe the plastic ring until it is bone dry you will get mildew. I will be happily washing for many years to come.

Awesome Washing Machine!

I love, love, love this washing machine. It uses much less detergent than my old machine, it is so quiet I sometimes forget it is running and I love the large drum size. I can actually wash bedding without having to take it to the laundromat. Would definitely buy LG products again.

We enjoy the many features of this washers over the ones we looked at before selecting and purchasing. Although it does not remove as much water when it spins as some others in the same category, it does a great job of cleaning. We also noticed that this washer drains excess water away from the machine instead of leaving it to gather odor (like our old one). And we really like the hygiene settings (steam and others) that ensure the cleanest of clothing and bedding.

Great machine

We love the size and capabilities of this washer. When you use the right soap, it gets your clothes clean every time and the large capacity lets you do more in one load. It's the best washer we've ever owned.

We absolutely love this machine, and let me tell you why:
* Sleek design that has an easy to use electronic dashboard that lights up in a brilliant blue. The glass lid allows you to see into the tub.
* Lots of setting options that are easy to adjust to fit your needs.
* The machine automatically calculated the amount of water needed. No more washing a full load on a low water setting because you simply forgot to change the settings. After watching it wash through the glass lid, I was surprised to see that it occasionally spins during the wash cycle, I assume to push the soapy water through the clothes.
* Easy to read numbers let you know how many minutes each particular load will take to wash.
* The stainless steel tub is HUGE. Perfect for those family-sized loads. Handles twice what my old machine did and I will never again have to visit the laundromat to wash my bedspreads and quilts. The tub is a bit deeper than I expected and sometimes have to stretch to reach the bottom.
* Quiet.
* Has a delightful melody that plays when the load is finished. I only wish it it had one more level of sound so it would be easier to hear on the second floor.

Best Washer Ever!!

With all the features this machine has you forget the task it's intended for: Cleaning clothes well. It certainly does that and more. Love the low suds HE detergent that is used and the fact that it uses much less water to do the same job older washers do. We couldn't believe how this machine cleans clothes without an agitator but it does a superior job. Could not be happier with this LG washer purchase. It functions flawlessly AND conserves energy.

Bought the washer/dryer combo and it was the best choice. Washer uses very little water or detergent and clothes come out perfect. Anybody thinking of getting a new washer this is the one to get.

We have had the washer and dryer about a month, and we love them so far. The washer holds a lot of laundry. It is relatively quiet and has done a good job washing our clothes. We have experienced no balance issues like some reviews we read. The dryer has also done an excellent job drying our clothes. I have no complaints on either. Both are very easy to use.
