One great fail!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a top loader because I wanted to be able to soak clothes overnight.
Woops. I can't even stop the thing, open the door, and let my things soak in water--because the washer automatically drains after a given period.
Big fail.

Lid does not close unless you push it down and when you do push it down there is a loud click sound

Worked well for 3 years but then motherboard died.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a front loader LG for about a year and it broke so LG reimbursed me and I bought this Toploader LG. I had it for three years and really loved it. I thought it did a great job cleaning and had no complaints. However one day a couple weeks ago it just didn’t power on. I had a repair man come and he confirmed that it was a dead motherboard and it would cost about $400 to fix. So I had to buy another machine. Since I had two LG‘s that died very quickly, I am trying out a different brand this time around.
