The freezer and refrigerator both stopped working and it is unrepairable. The unit was bought new less than 8 years ago.

Broke down on April 17,2023. Finally got it repaired May 18, 2023. Had to change the compressor and the mother board. Lost a lot of food and had to go without for a month.

We bought the refrigerator in January... round ball ice maker broken by first week in May. Now 1 month later... no part has come in to fix it.

Thank you for that information, Because we've had issues with the craft ice balls not ejecting properly LG has released a software update for those units with a craft icemaker. You can also try the following troubleshooting steps showcased in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFj0G2xTZL0 The main thing the software update does is it extends the heater time which now loosens the ice balls from the mold and allows them to drop. Once that happens your icemaker will begin back on its regular cycle of making ice. If these steps don't work, you can always reach back out to us for further assistance.
