Great Fridge - Huge Problem

Purchased this fridge in Jan 2017, everything worked great until April 2019. Unit stopped cooling. A repair call was made and it worked again until Nov 2019. Repair call this time determined that the compressor needed to be replaced. One week later, a brand new compressor was installed, only to fail 36 hours later. We're now on our 4th week of being without a fridge....The refrigeration company we've been working with noted that they've had numerous tickets to fix this issue. I definitely would not purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been without a refrigerator for 27 days. Between LG and the service providers, I have received poor customer service. The second representative stated that if I didn't hear word from the service company provided by the end of the week, I would be issued a new unit. Mind you, this is a refrigerator with a known faulty compressor. Upon calling, I was told that isn't their policy, so I have start the whole process again. After scheduling a 3rd appointment with another LG repair company, we shall see if the problem is fixed. LG has really disappointed me. I will never ever purchase another product from LG. Beware, if you have any warranty issues, LG will give you the run around.

Bad compressor!

bought this refrigerator 3 years ago and the compressor has already had to be replaced! the repair technician said this model has a known compressor issue. hopefully this issue won't repeat itself as apparently some have had multiple compressor failures. also, the suction around the doors seems to be getting less 'suctiony' over time. on a positive note, it looks nice.

Failed compressor, brittle parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compressor failed and was replaced in the second year of ownership. The water dispensing button hinge broke under normal use and now just sort of "floats" over the switch making it a little awkward to press for water. Freezer drawer is brittle. The front face of the upper freezer drawer is coming off on both sides.
Otherwise it's been a great, nice looking fridge with all the features I want/need.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings

3 years later and it’s officially dead

We bought this less than 3 years ago, it’s been fine up until now. The freezer stopped working, we had someone come out today and unfortunately we would have to spend more money than it’s worth to repair it. So freaking livid right now

FREEZER STOPPED WORKING

We bought this refrigerator approx. 3 years and used it very less, but the freezer stopped working and all the food in the freezer had to be thrown out.
