Purchased in 2015, and now on our third compressor. Seriously a fridge this expensive should not be having compressor failures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model was purchased January 2019. The freezer compressor stopped working March 2021 with a freezer full of food that needed to be tossed. Something you wouldn’t plan on for just over 2 year old refrigerator. I had to call at least 4 repair companies before I found a company that would repair an LG model. Major disappointment. Customer care was helpful, but I shouldn’t be contacting customer care about a 2 year old refrigerator.

This refrigerator failed within 6 years and it is currently under litigation as well due to faulty linear compressor. I am out of refrigerator for about three weeks after this unit failed.

The fridge worked fine for 18 months. The design and features were fine, but the compressor stopped working after 18 months. It took LG over three weeks to get it repaired. I've liked LG for TVs and other appliances, but never again on their fridge.

The compressor went out and we would be stuck with the bill after only 3 years without the extended warranty. Now we are without a refrigerator for going on 2 weeks waiting for parts. Not expecting the reward for my response.
