I bought this fridge a couple of years ago and we are looking for a fridge for another house. I am looking at reviews and can't say enough good things about this fridge. I have had fridges in the past that the ice makers never worked for more than a year at tops. I live in the south and outside in the yard all the time in the summer and have never run out of ice. People laugh when I go on and on about the ice but it is really the best feature of this product. The lights are awesome too!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fridge died unexpectedly one Saturday evening about 6 weeks ago. I knew i wanted a French door one but it needed more space than my last one had. I love my LG washer so i started looking at options.
I really like the door in door feature and the LED lighting is super. The ice maker set-up is great as it discharges extra ice into a tray in the freezer allowing for the easy removal of stale ice.
My one complaint is the doors in general. You cannot open both doors simultaneously or the closure strip flips out causing the doors to bang together and not close. The left door is very heavy since the ice maker is in the door. The right door is not heavy enough to close so in my house it’s found open many, many times....very unacceptable. While there is a door alarm, it sounds too late because if you are not in the kitchen doing something, you’ve left the kitchen before it sounds.
