Everything has been working fine up until about 2 weeks ago, when one of the fans in the freezer went out. Got a new one and installed it and everything is back to normal. Thank goodness it was an easy fix.

Died twice in three months

It's has a lot of nice features and plenty of room, but it has stopped cooling/freezing twice in less than three months. The refrigerator is less than 4 years old. The repair person wasn't very knowledgeable and required convincing as to what the actual problem was the first time. Very discouraging and making me regret I purchased an LG.

Compressor is junk and they know it.

2 years 10 months old and the freezer stopped working and the refrigerator is about 50 degrees. Called our sales rep. from the point of purchase and said yes this is a common problem, here is the number to call. Google the model and problem and they say the fix is the same bad product originally installed. It will be good enough to barely make it out of the 5 year warranty. Hopefully the class action lawsuit works.

Two compressors and still having to replace!

Bought this fridge new with our 4 year old house. They delivered it damaged and did not replace the whole unit but only doors. Replaced compressor first time within a year and LG only paid for the part. Compressor went bad AGAIN and our repair person said this is a KNOWN issue with these LG units. LG did nothing. We are now without a fridge and have a bad compressor - big shock. LG will do nothing and we are shopping for a whole new fridge. Needless to say I refuse to buy LG.
