I was so disappointed and the next date that a replacement was available was 8 weeks later! I had already gone 5 weeks with no refrigerator in my kitchen. I am hoping my next one works well!

Refrigerator is a little less than 5 years old and in that time it had 2 breakdowns, lost all the food and medications again, and because of the pandemic I waited almost 2 full months to get it repaired. Will never buy a LG again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought the refrigerator brand new and before the warranty expired we were in need of a new compressor. This was replaced under warranty. Shortly after, the freezer stopped making ice and the temperature would not hold in either section. A service call states that it would need a new compressor. Both companies to work on the fridge were certified with LQ. So now I have a five year old expensive refrigerator sitting empty and we were force to buy a new one. ( Not LG)Yes, I know there is a class action lawsuit for those that have all the paperwork to prove the issues. I expect more than 6 years from such an expensive purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some reason I really like this unit, however I'd be happier if the plastic basket front attachment in the freezer had not broken almost day one. The compressor broke down after approximately 2 years. I really like the 3 door structure with a door in door. The meat and vegetable storage are great and the the overall power consumed is much better than the refrigerator it replaced.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've owned this product for over three years. We bought this as a second fridge for more storage, and the double ice maker - door and freezer. It has worked well, except the door icemaker, which has had now four attempts to repair it - it partially fills with frozen water and becomes a block if ice. Latest fix may have worked - a previously unidentified partially twisted water hose. We've had some frozen lettuce if not stored in the vegetable drawer. Given the current pandemic, we've been able to store a lot in the freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my fridge for over 4 years except for this past year has been good This past year the cooling component broke took about 1 week to get part to fix .. that was truly inconvenient had to throw away food , use a cooler for essentials and buy ice daily Now it’s been working just fine
