Defective Compressor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compressor failed in less than one year. Technician said this is a known issue with LG refrigerators. Compressor is back - ordered because the failures are so common, LG can't keep them in stock. LG will not design a new compressor for their refrigerators. Don't take my word for it - Google "LG refrigerator compressors". Expensive junk!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outside door is open when we think we have closed it. Inside door closes on us when trying to get something out. Freezer doesn't freeze ice cream good enough. Water and ice cubes always taste musty. Filter only good for 3 mo.

Great size but terrible taste from ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this for a little over a month, overall great but we are going to return as there is a terrible taste coming from the ine-maker, especially crushed ice. At first we thought it was because it is new, but the water tastes fine. The store replaced the ice crusher but it has not made a difference. It's a shame as otherwise we were reasonably happy with the fridge.
Pros: easy to use

In 15 months, first LG French door refrigerator had bad tasting ice, next refrigerator had a COOLING problem. Hope the third one is better. We love the features, hate the problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybe I am biased because this is my first ever super fancy brand new refrigerator, but I absolutely love it. We buy a lot of produce and have a large family and there is plenty of room for everything! Cut up onions do not smell up the refrigerator in the drawer, the lighting of the refrigerator is so inviting and I can see everything! Love the design and it seems like it has everything I need that I didn't think about. LG are my favorite appliances anyway.

Wonderful refrigerator

The freeer space is very easy to organize. We have the double ice maker and living in Florida this is a hit at our house. Just a great product.
