[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the compressor go out on my LG refrigerator just after 5 years. My repair service suggested I call LG about getting it repaired. The lady I talked to at LG was so polite and immediately took care of the paperwork to get it replaced. It is up and running and I couldn’t be more happy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing is reliable anymore. After 1st year, the ice stopped coming into the basket in the freezer. Second year, the compressor stopped working. So pretty much dead. Lost so much food and frustrating to get quick service. The compressor new one is noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this door in door 29cuft refrigerator almost 6 years ago and has exceeded my expectations. The stainless steel shell is easy to clean and continues to look brand new. I did have a compressor issue last month but LG honored the warrantee and issued the parts quickly to the repair man. That's a testament to a great company. Would definitely buy again if I ever have to!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I bought this a few years ago and it's been a seller fridge up until about a year ago, it started defrosting randomly. At first I thought it was because my kids left it open from time to time, but then one day about 6 months ago it just stopped working so I did a full defrost for 24 hours and reset it and it started working again soo i didn't think anything of it. Well about 2 weeks ago it just stopped freezing again and I tried everything I could before calling support it just wouldnt work. Support was very helpful and got a tech out within a few days, thankfully most of our stuff made it to the other fridge in time but not all of it. Come to find out the compressor failed and its a very common issue with LG right now according to the tech. The repair was done within 2 hours and my fridge is running strong again.
