Like it - or most of it...

We have had this about a year now - so far, all has worked well, but there are some things LG could have done better. Specifically, the door in a door - we like that feature, but there is an alarm that lets you know when a door has been left open, and that alarm does not monitor the door in a door - so if the main doors are open, it will let you know, but if the small, exterior door is open, it won't. This is even more important because the small door does not have anything to automatically close it - so if you don't actually push the door until you hear it latch, it's not closed. At least most refrigerators have a magnetic strip that pulls the door to the frame if you get it almost closed - not this one. You actually have to push it to compress a seal. This could have been done better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful frig. I really the dual ice makers. One in the top door the other on he freezer at the bottom. I also like the door within the door for easy and access to milk and orange juice. It holds 2 one gallon jugs. The Stainless Steel looks great. It has a deep freezer with an extra drawer inside. The water and ice dispenser that give the choice of crushed or ice cubes..Like I said its beautiful.

Improvement needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is basically fine. One of the reasons we bought it was what appeared to be more interior space but upon loading it, we discovered one drawback: 2 ltr soda bottles! The only immediate location for bottles was in front of the shelf which could be pushed back halfway. There may be other locations but haven't had time to move shelves around as yet. Other than that, it appears to be working fine and I do like the option of the tray in the freezer receiving ice cubes as the one on the door fills up.

I like the design and layout but issues

I've had it in place 3 days and it hasn't finished first batch of ice on bottom.
It never ever stops running and don't see its getting down to 35.
The bottom drawer is sticky.
That's all fine the part that got me is the response from LG. I wasn't upset just wanted everything done so I could get food. Not one response to my email pertained to what I wrote. Sticky drawer / answer was about some times they feel loose. Always running / answer was about noisy when new. and I don't even know what they told me about ice makers. Just means there is no way to fix so store will pick back up while its brand new still. I'm not waiting weeks for food when the fridge was just placed. I'm also not paying the electricity when the compressor never stops running. Saddens me because I replaced my other LG that was 14 years old sticking with the brand because never an issue.
