In the past 4 years I have purchased the following LG products: washer, dryer, microwave, and a 70 inch TV. After what I have experienced I will never purchase another LG product and I will share with Facebook friends DON'T BUY LG PRODUCTS.

With the exception of having a couple of hiccups with the icemakers, it's been a great refrigerator. I LOVE the convenient door on the front for items we use often and the freezer on the bottom is EASY to open and close. Also, the double icemakers keep up with our demands.

The unit was really nice until the compressor failed after 67 months of use. While the compressor was still under warranty, the labor was not. I expected a refrigerator this expensive to last a lot longer without a problem.

Had a tech check it and it needed a new compressor.
Hard to reach someone by phone, but eventually did but had to have replacement compressor sent to local service company rather than directly to me. Too much of a hassle to get a replacement part covered by warranty.
