[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bout this LFXS29626S (29 CuFt) french door refrigerator in end of April 2015. It is a great refrigerator with three doors including a big freezer until Dec 2018 when it suddenly stopped cooling. Since I had bought extended warranty for 5 years I was in luck and got free replacement compressor and labor. Then again it stopped cooling this month Sept 2021. I called the customer support with persistent request that I should get free replacement compressor and labour, my request was obliged. I had to live without refrigerator for 5 days which lead to spoiled food. One really nice about LG was that it did give me free compressor and labor. But I am not buying another LG refrigerator.
Pros: ease of use

Never again!!!

We bought this frig in Sept of 2016. After two years the first compressor went. They replaced it. They were back again a year later and replaced the compressor again. Now, here we are again. The compressor is not working...

Big disappointment

Our compressor died after 5.5 years! They will fix it in 3 days, but I will have to pay for the service, why? Their compressors are failing and the company needs to be responsible for changing them for free like every respected company, who proud of their products!!

Bought it 5 yrs ago and stopped cooling twice. 1st time we were 1 month out of lg warranty but bought 5 yr extended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge Nov 2017, to replace the one that came with the house, It wasn't very good. So this coming Nov will be 6 years. The only problem we have had is that the compressor went out in Aug this year. Possibly our fault. I haven't cleaned the area behind the fridge not even once is 6 years, So it was pretty dusty back there and limited the air flow back there. We did not buy the extend warranty for the fridge. but LG provides an extend warranty on the compressor and they replaced it I only had to pay for the labor. The compressor was no charge. So all in all very happy with the LG product.

3 compressors replaced. Time to get away from LG

Purchased this unit in 2016 and the 3rd compressor has failed. This has become too bothersome to consider LG as a replacement. Too bad because I have other LG products that perform well. Will not recommend this product to anyone.
