This product has excellent features

I deligently researched refrigerators from numerous different makers in different stores. On the internet I read so many reviews because I wanted a quality, dependable refrigerator with lots of room for storage and a good warranty. Believe me LG was the answer to my prayers. Having a dual ice maker makes it so we have lots of ice for hot summer days or when friends come over.
I have not had one thing go wrong with my LG and my wife loves it as much as I do. Everyone who sees it is full of envy and says when their refrigerator dies LG will be what they will purchase.
I saw nice looking refrigerators in other brands some of which were lower priced. However once I was reading the reviews of almost brand new refrigerators having BIG problems and the owners were having a nightmare trying to get service I stayed away from those makes and models.
Believe me "IF" you purchase this same refrigerator I did for our new home you will be a happy camper and your wife will be so happy. Do your research and you will see I am right!!!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, everything is at your fingertips

Great Fridge

This fridge keeps food well organized. No more seachering and moving items to find a specific food. It's all in plain view. The food stays fresh longer than with our side by side and there's alot more useable space with this layout. We never run out of ice due to the dual ice makers. We are very happy with this fridge and would definetly recomend it to anyone looking for a terrific French Door fridge!!!!

The ice maker in the door freeing up space in the fridge sold me on this model. And the extra ice maker in the freezer is a plus for those times you may need the extra ice, if not turning that feature off is also a plus. Love the capacity of both the refrigerator and freezer, so much room in both. Plenty of space for all our food and drinks. Would recommend this refrigerator to anyone and everyone.

Nice size broke after year and a half

Never buy LG their service department is awful my refrigerator broke three days before Christmas they couldn't find a company to fix my refrigerator I went on my own and found someone that excepts their warrantee. On a Thursday they said they will send over the work orders for the company to come fix it they did not now it is the following Thursday and when I call LG they still have you yet to send over the work order there for my appointment is now canceled and I have to wait another week two weeks two small babies and no refrigerator. No one speaks English and no one gets anything done with LG never ever ever bit LG. Also a friend of mine has exact same refrigerator and hers has been fixed twice and it's maybe 2 1/2 years old and she also had a wait months to get it fixed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not a reliable product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Refrigerator 3 years ago and have had to replace the in door ice maker now at least 4 times with a service call waiting to see if it has to be replaced again. We also had the freezer ice maker go out after about 1.5 years and were so frustrated we just decided not to replace it. The fridge is beautiful and has lots of features but the quality of the parts put in it is not worth the money.

Dead compressor after 4 years

4 year old fridge ... dead compressor. A refrigerator this expensive should last longer than 4 years. I’ve heard this is a common LG problem... even repairmen said avoid LG.

Beware of Linear Compressor Failure

Bought this refrigerator and now the linear compressor has failed after only two years. LG touts a 10-year warranty on their linear compressors but when I went to get mine repaired, they said it only had a one year warranty.
The local appliance repair company said they have seen multiple LG linear compressor failures and that there is even a class action lawsuit against LG for these faulty compressors. A refrigerator compressor should not fail after only two years.
Avoid LG appliances!

Great Until........

Loved this thing! Huge, filled this thing up and it was great until.......it started to leak freon (per our repair man). Need a new fridge now. Installed this thing Nov 1, 2016!!! Not even 4 years later it need to be replaced. Avoid avoid avoid
