Awesome - until it stopped working at 3 yrs old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this refrigerator for the first 3 years. Then one day it stopped getting cold. Compressor is still running - but no cold air coming out. The ice makers were nice, didn't leak, and it has a lot of space and is quiet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this refrigerator in 2016. We are on our 3rd repair for the same issue and 4th repair to the appliance overall. The first time they claimed to have fixed it, it worked for 30ish hours, then went out. Unfortunately, we were to eager to go shopping and this resulted in a second loss to food spoilage. The repair man came again yesterday claimed to have fixed it and yet my refrigerator is at room temp. A simple google search will turn up an alarming number of stories like mine. If you do not want to spend your time getting involved in class action lawsuits against LG and filing complaints with your state attorney generals consumer representative I would choose a different company. If you do not need refrigeration and are only looking for a beautiful prop than this is the company for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is large and spacious and the dual ice makers are great! I pack a cooler every day and I am extremely satisfied with the interior. my only complaint is that I didn’t get or have the option to get the smudge free stainless, so now I have to clean the outside doors.
