The gentlemen who came out was an exceptional worker. He knew just what to do and fixed the problem. L G has handle this problem and the customer agent was very helpful and put our minds at ease.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refigerator has served us well for the past 2 1/2 years until recently when the compressor went bad. Fortunately it was under warranty and we found out that this was a common problem with this refrigerator/linear compressor. Hopefully the new compressor will prove to be much better and we'll have many years of service going forward. We needed a black and this was the right black and with the in-the-door ice makers being so small, having a second icemake in the freezer was imperative. We love this refrigerator and all it has to offer.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge 5 years ago, had to replace the ice machine after two years at my expense, last week the compressor went out and it took two weeks to get a LG technician to come out and replace it under warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a little over two years ago. JuSt had the compressor replaced for the second time. Refrigerator has failed three times so far. Icemaker also stopped working. Replacement compressor does not renew compressor warranty. After five years budget for / plan on buying another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The compressor went out on my refrigerator. It was still within the manufacturers warranty period, so I contacted LG. They scheduled an appointment with no issues and sent it a technician to replace the compressor. The technician was great. He was in communication with us early on the day of the appointment and was even able to come early due to another appointment being cancelled. He was knowledgeable and worked quickly to get the refrigerator working for us again. Thank you.
