[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the features of this refrigerator. Great size and great look. Little frustrated that the ice production is not as good as our previous LG. Ice is cheap so we keep an extra bag in the freezer if it doesn't keep up.
I’ve had this refrigerator for about six years. I love it! I love the dual icemakers, I love that the icemaker in the refrigerator doesn’t take up shelf room, and I still have the door storage. That was some thing the other refrigerators did not have. I have had two issues, one, my icemaker stopped working, and I had to have that repaired, and secondly, my compressor went out, and LG helped with the replacement of that. Otherwise, I am still in love it.
The features were outstanding on this refrigerator. The double ice make sounded awesome! There have been a few replacements of the ice maker necessary throughout its life. And just recently we had to replace the compressor. I would recommend an extended warranty on the newer large units!

Compressor failure

I m now looking for contractors to come out and replace the compressor but it's so expensive that I m wondering if I should just buy another brand after reading reviews on the number of times compressor has failed in this model! If it's a recurring issue , LG should take more ownership and fix it for customers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our LG refrigerator when we completed our new home in 2016. It has served us for seven years. We recently had to have the compressor replaced. Fortunately the compressor was under warranty. We’re very happy with or LG.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had for several years and have had to replace the compressor twice. LG paid for the first fix, but is giving me the run around on the second fix. I love the configuration of the fridge which is why I chose it, but it has ruined much of our food between the compressor fails and the lack of ability to control temps - anything towards the back of the fridge ends up freezing. Not my best purchase and not the easiest company to work with.

We’ve had several LG products two of them refrigerator, freezers, and when they work, they’re great. As far as the icemakers, they break down and it costs a lot of money to get it fixed so I’m not happy. This happened on both.
