Great until the indoor ice maker started leaking

The in door ice maker began leaking and became frozen to the compartment. It leaks down the door. It is not blocked or cracked in any areas. I was able to get it out by melted the ice down, but it is still happening.

Terrible. Do Not Buy!

This is my third fridge in ten years. This is my second LG fridge. I should have know better. My first repair was three months after I purchased the fridge. The second was a year later. Less than five years later, the compressor broke...total meltdown.

compressor failed. doors dont shut tightly temp is not maintained door ice maker doesnt work freezer ice maker dose not work VERY expensive headache

Horrible fridge

Two compressor failures in five years. Unreliable. And no life is not good. Poor quality for an expensive fridge. Throwing it away, switching to a different brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While my wife and I could not have been more pleased with the features of this particular refrigerator, after barely 5 years the compressor failed. Much of the food had to be discarded, but we were able to save the frozen contents by placing them in our 1957 upright freezer of another brand. That freezer never had a compressor failure, never required any maintenance other than a new door gasket after 40 years, yet my LG refrigerator never saw 6 years without a major failure. Although the compressor was covered under warranty, the labor cost to replace it was substantial. My wife and I, in our 70's, thought this would be the last refrigerator we would ever have to buy. I'm now sure it won't be.

This product is worth the money

Plenty of ice never run out even when I have family over for dinner parties. keeps food fresh longer than my last ice box good on space easy to clean I just love it
