I finally stepped up to the 21st century and got a gaming console for my family, the Xbox 360. The only problem is that while it came with ONE controller, I have 3 children. You can see the conundrum this caused. One quick trip to Best Buy remedied the situation.
The controller itself is identical to the one that came with the system. It works just fine and I've had no issues with the controller itself or it's wireless capability.

Got the insurance. Sometimes the wires get major wear and tear depending on how bad you control your anger when I head shot you on Halo. Don't throw your controller - and if you have unsatisfactory anger management, then you should definitely purchase the 2year insurance.
