Better Than the Old Model

I had the original model of this, and it would occasionally make a crackle noise when the speakers were on but nothing was playing. That drove me nuts but I needed wireless, so I upgraded to the new model shown here. The new model works great, no noise, and it takes up less space than the old model. If you need wireless rear speakers this is the only game in town and that isn't a bad thing.

Got rid of all the wires

The product gave me a chance to get rid of the surround sound wires from my BOSE system, keeping my leaving room floor or walls clear. The Sound quality was not degraded at all. A solid product overall. And the price point wasn't to bad either maybe a $79 product, vs $99, either way I would purchase again.

Great Wireless Device

Would recommend this device if you wish to avoid running wires across the room from your sound system to rear speakers.

I found it very simple to set up the system with my Onkyo 5.1 surround sound system. Connected the rear speakers to sender box approximately 12 feet away from the receiver, the wireless signal worked instantly. Audio is crystal clear, no static or other artificial noise, and no feedback from using other wireless devices nearby either. Audio perfectly syncronized, no delays of any kind.

Durability may vary: had to exchange the kit once due to 3 of the plastic hinges on the back of the receiver box breaking off when pressed down with normal force.

I am a traditionalist and wanted a wired connection for my 5.1 surround sound system. When it was not feasible, I knew Best Buy had this product on hand. I anticipated hindrances and a loss of audio quality. While it is not the set up I truly wanted, the wireless surround sound kit is a great alternative. It is easy to set up and straightforward. I would recommend this if people want simplicity and are not experts with DIY.

I was worried about a delay in the sound from the other wired speakers but there wasn't any.
