Epsom scanner

The scanner copies good quality photos. The instruction are fairly good. Fail to tell you when to plug into computer. Before or after computer restart. The biggest draw back is there are no instructions past that on how to scan to a destination file etc. finally found a tutorial I will watch but I prefer a booklet form. Hate going back and forth if I miss a step.

Odd size negatives.

I have a lot of negatives to copy and many of them
are 4x5 in size.
Also about 50 rolls of old 120 B&W negatives, all of
which I can't copy on your Epson.
Other wise it is working OK.

V370 Photo Scanner

The Epson V370 does a very good job for scanning photos , slide, and color 35mm film.
I am in need of a scanner, like the V370, for scanning 2.25x2.25 square format negatives,
in B&W and color. Do you make such a product?
I have thousands of 2.25 square negatives that I would like to digitize. Please le me know.

Epson Perfection V370 Photo

I have about 5,000 slides that I am digitizing and storing on my Windows 8 PC. So far I have done so for more than 800 in three weeks. It takes approximately 4 minutes for 4 slides, including previewing, modifying if necessary and adding a filename if I want to.
This device also makes excellent copies of literature and magazine articles. I have copied and enlarged to scale some plans that were too small. This saved me a lot of time trying to manually copy the plans to graph paper.
I have copied pictures and emailed successfully. The manual instructions are provided on disc and easy to read and understand.

Great Scanner

Used it to scan approximately 1000 negatives and 600 photos that we had from our predigital era. Very very happy with the ease of use and especially the results. Best to wipe or blow dust off of the film/photos before scanning and keep the scanner glass clean.

I am on my second download of the software as I could not open the scanner after the first. Following all of the instructions but now I am locked up halfway thru the second download of the software.

Works pretty good

After a huge hassle with installing the drivers(do yourself a favor & just install the outdated included software, then update it from the website. This method is quick & will avoid wanting to throw the scanner across the room).
the scanner itself works great. Pictures I've scanned are perfect. I like that I can choose the dpi. Now just photoshop & all my faded pictures look like new.

Nice Features - Manual lacking
on September 19, 2014

Nice features and great scans. The instruction manual is a disappointment. There are no page numbers. If you want to find any info, you click on a link in the manual to get you there. There is no table of contents nor index. I thought I could at least add page numbers in Adobe Acrobat but the manual is protected. I own an Epson Artisan 50 printer and the manual is much more professional.
Had it not been for the poor documentation, I would have rated this 5 star.
