Good dishwahser, seems bit touchy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this dishwasher about 3 weeks so far. so new to the game. Overall I like it and enjoy the 3rd rack (top) for silverware .. removing the big trays so you can fit something on bottom shelf. At store, they made a big deal about putting soap pod in the little bumpout on the middle / upper tray, and showed how there was a jet designed to hit area. Manual says to only put them in the dispenser on the door .. which is right ? And if we put them in the tray bumpout, why the heck doesn't Bosch even devote 1 sentence to it ?
Dishes seemed to stay a little wet when running on a manual aetting .. started using auto and that problem stopped, but why is it a problem ? Drain line hoes will not be long enough to connect to unless you have it installed right next to the sink. Ours is less than 2 feet away and had to extend it.
Installs fairly easy. Would like more rubber seal around perimeter to block out all signs of empty space between dishwasher and counter/cupboards.
My wife sometimes gets mad as she has to try a few times to get it going/started. Cleaner and nicer look to have everything hidden, but this is the price paid for that.
Overall strong and good washer, nice look, hopefully will last forever. The old one seemed larger inside, but I have not convinved myself yet that it is true.

BOSCH 800 SERIES DISHWASER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher in July. My kitchen was getting remodeled and the appliances were installed a week before Thanksgiving. So happy to have is up and working for the big day. This unit is quite and very efficient. With plenty of room for all of my dirty dishes, pots and pans. If I were to do another remodel I'd select Bosch products again. Thanks Bosch for making a great product.

Great, As Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this last year when my Viking spit the bit. Absolutely silent -- the red light it projects onto the floor is the ONLY way to tell it is on. Cleans beautifully. In love with the silverware rack on top. Cleans every piece. No problems so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is located in an open space room where the quiet operation is most appreciated. We bought this dishwasher a year and half ago and liked it so much that when our son and daughter-in-law needed a new one, we bought them this same model. This dishwasher is so quiet you don't even know its running. (Good thing there' s a red light that shines on the floor to let you know that it's running!) When we've had our family over they have mistakenly opened the door while its running - That's how quiet it is!!!

The BEST dishwasher ever in my home!!

So quiet you don't know it's running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this machine less than 1 year ago and I am so glad we picked a Bosch. My old dishwasher was so loud I didn't want to run it while we were entertaining. This machine is so quiet you wouldn't know it was running. This machine has a small light that shines on the floor to let you know it it running. Otherwise you cant tell. Love the third rack. It it great for all those infant food containers, covers, baby spoons etc. They should show it in the pictures but they don't. Its at the very top.

Quiet but not a fan of the pocket handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher does a great job and is super quiet. My only complaints are the plastic stays wet, we have to prop the door open to dry out the inside between loads, and the recessed handle is a pain. If your hands are wet from rinsing off dishes, the water gets all over the front of the stainless steel. Would get the model with the handle if buying again. Would also like either a heated dryer or to have it open the door at the end of the cycle like the Miele's do.
